Building Self-Esteem and Creating Positive Energy Every Day

Have you noticed or asked yourself why women seem to lack self-esteem while men are out there beating their chests and reaping the benefits?

Why is feeling good about themselves second nature to a man but at the bottom of the "to do" list for women?

Might the answers lie within the facts that women: tend to be self-judging, constantly strive for the illusory state of perfection and feel the need to take care of everyone around them first, thus sacrificing themselves in the process?

Well ladies it’s time to tap into your “feel good” every day and put yourself in the Number 1 position! No one can make this happen but you! We all know that a woman’s joy can be infectious—spilling over to everyone around her. So what are you waiting for?

How do the ladies in our Circle accomplish this?

  • Learning to listen to your inner voice

  • Coming together in Women’s groups for support and laughter

  • Learning how to look things right in the eye and deal with them in the moment

  • Setting good intentions

  • Nourishing ourselves with good food

  • A regular practice of yoga

  • Daily meditation

  • Writing yourself a love letter

  • Regular exercise and self care

  • Getting in touch with your desires

  • Using essential oils

  • Surrounding yourselves with like- minded people

  • Focusing on the present moment in all of its perfection

  • Keeping negativity out

  • Honoring the fact that everyone "has a story"

  • Stopping yourself in a moment of anger or negativity and remembering that "you’re working on letting stuff go" and affirming on your long term journey "you can function just fine"

  • Understanding the duality of pain vs. pleasure and how they coexist.

  • Breathing in the pain and breathing out the joy as prescribed by the Vietnamese Buddhist monk, Thich Nhat Hanh.

How do you build self-esteem and create positive energy in your life each day?
